On Tuesday evening in Bahía Blanca, at Thompson street 2500, a 40-year-old driver identified as Mauro Figueroa ran over a woman and her two children and fled the scene without assisting them. Neighbors immediately alerted the authorities. The 26-year-old woman, Catalina Metz, was taken to the hospital with a serious skull trauma and a fracture in one of her lower limbs. The two children, aged 4 and 2, suffered minor head injuries and were taken to the hospital in good condition. Hours later, the driver turned himself in at the local police station, where he was formally accused.
